I used to own both a deep running Invader and a shallow running invader. The deep runner was donated to the bottom of San Pablo res, and I gave the shallow diver to Super Matt. The paint jobs were not realistic, but both baits did have a wide swimming action and I think they would work great in stained water. The deep diver did dive to around 18 feet on 20# mono. I would give them a try, the price is right.
