1267, Best Flippin' rod?

Hello. I need some help on buying a rod for flipping. The local lake I fish is just chock full o' cover, and quite a bit of it's heavy stuff.I know there are tons of rods out there that would do the trick. But this rod will be used mostly for 1/2 oz. jigs and large flipping plastics like the Brush Hog and Double Wide Beaver with 20 lb. test. Versatlity isn't too crucial here: my pitching and general soft plastic fishing rod is a stout 7' MH at the moment. But I need help on which are the best rods. Eventually I'm going to build a Loomis rod(probably a 905 model blank) but I need a rod for next season.I was thinking a Shimano Clarus from TW, they sound like a good temp. rod but any suugestions?

I like flipping with the lamiglass 806 its a solid rod for flipping heavy cover. I also like the kistler 7'6" for flipping a little lighter weight stuff.

The clarus has a really soft tip, and I personally wouln't use it for flippin big boys in heavy cover. I use a castaway FR76. Its a meaty rod and flips well.

I concur with Jwick22, the GLX flippin' stick is the way to go. If you have the $$, definately scoop one up. If it's a bit out of your price range, look at the IMX line from Loomis, a very good line from Loomis it's just not as light at the GLX graphite but equally effective.

Kistler'S Helium rods won't tire you as quickly as others. They are the lightest rods I've used in 30+ years of Bassin' plus, they have the power to set the hook and land the Bass. I use their 7/6 Heavy Casting model:
