I need help rewiring the plug for my 12/24 t-motor. The old plug was wired wrong and I kept poping a fuse. There are 4 (two black, two red) at the front of the boat so I do not think the batteries are wired in a series or line or whatever it is you call it.

So how do I wire the batteries in a series/line and come out with three wires to connect to the t-motor plug (black, orange, red) I am a electrical idiot but I think I can do this myself. Want to get it done tonight so I can fish this weekend. Thanks.

John I dont think I can help you much but I know minw works so if you wanna come look at it mabey you can figure it out off that.
