Hey guys, I've been busy with my airbrush painting various things over the last 2 months. Over the last week I painted these crankbaits. I'm gonna try 'em tomorrow at the Windsor ponds tomorrow.

Very nice baits! I just got a new compressor, I'm new to spraying baits but I have a couple of DD-22 and DD-14's that I sanded down and sprayed, kind of stoked on the whole airbrush thing. The baits pictured are epic, mine look like some kid drew on them with a crayon but I'm going to work on it!! Hell yeah, Chris!

Actually my first 3 or 4 lures "look like some kid drew on them with a crayon" also! :P These were like my 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th attempts. I still need to work on the eyes and gill plates though. Heck, I forgot to put gills on my baby carp! :+
What I really need is a good wood worker who wants to work with me to make some crankbait bodies.

Pics were taken on a disposable camera that didn't belong to me. I'm gonna have to wait until the camera is full before it's developed. x(

I like the bluegill pattern, looks very natural. I think the crankbait companies could do a lot better painting natural colored baits! Now the first one isn't exactly my bag :) but bass eat chartreuse so heck why not right?

The plastics are mine the lures are just some that friends have painted for me (http://calfishing.com/gallery/album16) I have lots more styles and can do pretty much any colors if you use senkos I pretty much have those mastered I like to do pearl colors in the that give off a baitfish type sheen. I won't be able to trade for a month or so since my pouring stuff is packed away right now but let me know if your interested.
