Hello all. New to the board but long time lurker. Need a little help. Basstrix made a swimbait a ways back that was prerigged and came in a 8,10, and 12 inch model. I've tried the usual methods: ebay, AIM, etc. with no luck. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks for any help.

I can't find them anywhere so I'm not really picky on the color.

Bonjour Frenchy! Comment ca va? (sorry my keyboard is "cedille-less"...) I have a bunch of the "Old" Basstrix swimbaits. If you hold the tail in boiling water for a while , and hang it so the tail is straight down, it'll get the "boot" of the tail to: A.straighten out a bit B. kick a bit better. Also I tried the trick of cutting a little of the plastic away from the base of the boot tail...when I initailly thought to do that, I was afraid to ruin it, but then I saw on that exact thing talked about on Byron Velvick's Swimbait Video from WESTERN BASS(circa 2000-2001), and I also found this link: http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/columns/story?page=b_col_bt_1006_tuning_swimbaits ...so I had much more confidence that I wouldn't totally ruin it by giving that a shot! GOOD LUCK!!!! Be Safe , Alex
