I only have the larger punker. I changed out the split rings to owner hyperwire size 7 or 8 is the best. The hooks I put on were some Owner 2/0 stinger trebles. Not sure of the number but they ARE NOT the 2X. Did it affect the action... not sure didnt throw it tonight. I dont anticipate that it will though. Might as well experiment for yourself they are only hooks and split rings.. easily reversible.
