Anyone have any opinions on which is the better rod for deep diving crank baits like the DD22 and similar?

Also, do you use this rod for any other purposes?

Thanks!
Jay

I personally prefer the 805 for DD-22's, Bandit 700's, and other deep running baits. Even as a 5 power rod there is an incredible amount of flex! And yes, I also double the rod for topwaters. Throwing the spook, sammie, and some larger popppers has worked really well as they have a heck of a time throwing the trebles with that rod!

Thanks for the input. I order a couple of the 805's.
