1899, New Rod (home made)
Posted by bass kid, Fri Jan-05-07 07:46 PM
Ok so for my birthday i got a rod machine so i decided to make myslef a new rod. This isnt the 1st time ive made a rod, just the 1st rod on my machine. Its a 6'10" and its telescopic infront of the for grip(like a flippn rod) its between a M and MH action and i plan on useing it for bigger plastics. I designed all the cork grips and sanded them down, i like to have odd style gripps as you will see in the pics. I rapped the guides with a dark brown with grey high light, and you can see between the back grips a did a small wrap that is grey with brown high lights just to mix it up a bit. So heres the pics of the rod, oh and ive already used it and it works great, 1st fish on it was like a 4 with a chatterbait :7
