Every so often I call over to TW and ask whats new and hot. Aside from the usual response which is - Sweet Beavers, the guys were talking up a brand new frog rod from Diawa. I haven't seen the rod myself but these guys are saying its totally the killer frog rod. Something to check out for summertime froggin:

If that's cork, that's a very poor pic of its handle...look's like squared-off hard plastic???

Well Dan you were wrong the cork is very nice! Great handle which provides good balance. Super light weight, VERY STIFF great for flipping and bringing the big boys out of the matts! I am gonna use it tomarrow and will let you guys know how it proforms then.

So how was the LT rod? I've been taking a look at the daiwa light and tough rods myself and find them incredibly light. I just wonder about the sensitivity factor given how strong it is.
