What is the sink rate like on the baits? What depth do they "like" to run at on a slow retrieve?

I've been using a couple of the 'early' ones and on my countdown, I found them to sink at about 2'/second(1,000 one, etc.).

I d/k for sure(can't see underwater) but I think they will 'swim' at whatever depth you start to reel them in. Of course, the closer they get to you, the more they rise.
