For all you tackle ho's, TW has a few new Reaction Innovation products in stock to check out.

The 'School Girl' is a roadrunner type bait, like what Aaron was using in the classic a few years ago.

They also have the 'Barley Legal' version of the Vixen which is a smaller version of the regular Vixen

This kind of stuff seems to go pretty quick and it looks like the 1/2oz school girl baits are already on their way out.

What ever you do don't buy the School Girl, they suck. Especially if you are targeting spots gorging themselves on shad. Don't throw them on Folsom, or McClure, or Melones they don't work...in fact if you have bought any send them to me and I will get rid of them for you. }(

The Sworming Hornet head that they have work also. I have had pretty good success with them.

i have a question on the school girl, i was wondering if anyone thinks how a big hammer will work as a trailer, i just bought a few and i bought some big hammers for trailers i bought 3" and 4" and was wondering if those might be the right size. thanks

man, that was my thought exactly. I bought a few of those sworming hornets, I just haven't gotten around to trying them. A 3" hammer should match up perfect on that thing.

The 4" Hammers don't work to well on the heads. I think it's because the body at the head of the bait is too wide and catches too much water and keeps the bait from working correctly. But the 3" should be perfect!

I've gotten laughed at using 3" and 4" Fish Traps on blades and buzzbaits instead of a skirt- I'm sure it's the same thing with the Hornet- }(

Dan, I just got a Yak, found out the spotties like the Hornet just fine, but I think you know that already- they crushed the 4" swimbait on a 1/2 oz. head, and they don't fall apart like a freshwater blade after two fish

I've been drilling the spotties on the head spins for a year now. Yeah definately cool!!

Here's a pic of a 3" hammer on a 1/2oz sworming hornet. It's not a perfect match but it's pretty close. Must field test this soon...

I used the swarming hornet in various sizes quite a bit in prefishing at New Melones. I was using it with a single tail grub on the back. It gets bit a lot but it seemed like the hookup ratio was fairly poor. Most fish bit off the tails of the bait. With that said, I still caught a dozen or so fish on it. Its a fun bait, it looks really good in the water, and its fairly effective. I don't think its going to blow the socks off of the trophy world :P but it catches fish.
