It is awesome for smallmouth,largemouth,walleye,lake trout,northern pike,musky,huge crappie,perch and best of all - no people. We see more bears,moose,whitetail deer and bald eagles than people when were there. Ontario Canada, the opener is May 23 I think. Go within the first 2 months after the opener. It is awesome. We go every year and it is so nice to hear no noise. Think about it, have you ever heard no sounds with the exception of the trees ? Oh and the lake ? I mean it. Think about it.
