1716, I'm Back
Posted by Phil, Fri Nov-15-02 12:45 AM
No reports yet as i'm still winding down from the wedding. Everything went great and everyone had an awesome time. The wedding was saturday, my wife moved in sunday and we've been busy as heck ever since. Things are finally going back to normal for us though, and I think i'll be getting back out as soon as this sunday. So what's up with everyone else? The weekend of December 7th and 8th is booked for me, but other than that i'm ready to start chasing some hawgs. I want to make some trips to Coyote since it's close, so if anyone wants to hit it up with me or show me around that would be cool. Anyways, it's going to be nice to get back into fishing again, I just hope we get some more storms like the one we just had in the near future.

Heres a pic of my wife and I at Madonna Inn (where the reception was held) we stayed in the rock room that night and this picture was the next day.

Congratulations to you both.
My wife and I stayed in the same room at the Madonna Inn on our Honey Moon, (about 17 years ago).

Last spring my wife and I honeymooned there, and next month we're expecting. That place is an aphrodisiac for women, we stayed in the Misty Rock room, and then after a short visit to Morro Bay, we came back and stayed in the Rock Bottom room. Angie can't stop talking about the rock waterfall showers.
Congratulations Phil, I hope you get back to fishing soon, really dig your Lopez reports.

What Madonna Inn are you talking about and where. Sounds like a cool place to check out. Also you say your close to coyote now?

Congrats Phil

Thank you guys. Madonna Inn is in San Luis Obispo. Like everyone said, they really went all out with rocks in that place. When we stepped into the room we couldn't believe it. Everything but the bed and the tv was rocks. It feels like your in a cave. I'll attach a few pics of the sink and shower although it's a little hard to see.

John,
When I said I was close to Coyote I should've said that it was the closest lake with the best chance at a big dog. I'm actually still here in Morro Bay. I'm thinking it should only be around 2 1/2 hours from here?

That place looks totally cool. I will have to get there. What does it run a night for a room like you guys had? Do they have a web site? Thanks for the info Phil
