I was making my rounds in the local pawn shops today and saw a very nice rod/reel combo. Anyone serious enough to buy a G-Loomis(unk. model / charcole gray) rod and Calcutta 150 reel combo will almost never be willing to pawn it. So it imediately raised my suspision about it ending up at one of the local pawn shops. Usually it's new boxed tackle that employees probably steal. I would be willing to bet it was lifted from someone's garage or boat without permission. The combo looked 95% new with green line (either P-line or Maxima). The shop wanted $275. for the combo. This is also unrasonably high for a pawn shop. If you got your tackle stolen and you think this combo may be yours, send me an email and I'll give you the location in Los Angeles county.
