I got a text message from a buddy who is there to fish as a co-angler, according to him, the tournament was cancelled because the Corp of Engineers has deemed the water as hazardous because its above full pool and no one's insurance apparently will cover their boat under those conditions. Don't quote me on the reasoning here or the absolute truths here, but sounds like due to high water and hazardous conditions the Red River has been canceled. Tonight was the pre-tournament meeting. Instead of drawing out their partners, they were informed they get to go home early. Can you imagine having practiced and committed yourself to being there? Uggggghhhh.......
