Hey Bro!
Don't even bother fishing Mead during the day, unless it's from first light to 7:30 AM. IT'S SO FREAKIN'HOT YOU'LL BE MISERABLE! If you do, Throw Spooks and Rico's, and drop-shot purple worms. Hula grubs work good as well off the walls as well.
Look for Stripers busting schools of shad anywhere, and I swear you'll never have a more ballistic top-water bite.....EVER! (I DID DESTROY A SPLASH-IT DOING THIS THOUGH, BE CAREFUL!)
My club had a tourney there last JULY and it was 124 degrees! Satan was sticking them though!!! Ha Ha!
I'd go to the Casino's during the day, AND THEN FISH MEAD AT NIGHT!
The bite goes WIDE on Crank Baits then!
Good luck bro!
