Sorry, but I'm pretty late with this tip, but you may consider it next time.
1. San Luis forebay for stripers, bass , and catfish. Use swimbaits
for stripers/bass and anchovies for cats/stripers.
2. California and Delta Mendota aqueducts by Hwy. 580 and Hwy.5 just
passed Livermore. Use chicken livers, anchovies, and swimbaits
for stripers and catfish. The waterflow is pretty strong so keep
that in mind.
3. Lake Del Valle in Livermore for catfish especially. There are
some trout in summer and some stripers as well. Largemouths and
smallmouths are pretty popular here as well. May need to rent
a boat to get awat from the crowds. The standard baits and lures
here.
