Of you guys who are experiencing problems with EWG style hooks on Senko Baits, what size line are you using. I use at least 12 to 15 lb. test that would straighten out most of those lighter wire hooks. The heavier (12-15 lb test)line will also aid in slowing the fall of the bait down, even if the hook is a tad on the heavy side. I have no idea hot the Salt Sticks match up to the Senko in density and weight, but it seems the general principles should be about the same. A 4/0 EWG Gamakatsu on a 5 inch Senko with 12 lb. Sugoi FC has never let me down.
