13383, Aqueduct ?'s

Hi guys,
I actually kind of have 2 seperate sets of questions.

This weekend and maybe the weekend of the 29-30th I'm headed down to help relatives move from San Bernardino to Apple Valley. Where can I go in this area with a reasonable chance of hooking a Striper in the 10#+ range? I'll have limited time to fish and it will probably be at night with large trout plugs (4-Eyes), if that makes any difference. I have fished at Silverwood a fair bit while I lived down there a few years back, but other than that, I don't know my way around too much after I get off the main freeways. So can anyone point me to a good area around Apple Valley?

My other set of questions has to do with the area of the Aqueduct around San Luis Reservior. I know this area fairly well, living just over the hill, but have had trouble finding bigger fish here lately. I'm catching a few 3-5# Stripers around the Delta-Mendota Y into the fore-bay on spooks, but I haven't seen any bigger fish even cruising. After they removed the truck from the aqueduct below Cottonwood road that spot hasn't produced anything over 4#. Where are the big girls? Anyone want to donate their truck for an insurance check and a good fishing spot?Just Kidding! JCAB, are you getting any bragging sized ones around here? As long as I'm on it, has anyone been doing well on the lake or fore-bay?
Tight lines,
Wade
