This years camping trip to lake Piru was our biggest yet with 3 boats, 43 good friends/family plus a few groups that came up for an afternoon to celebrate my grandpa’s 90th b-day (campground pics are on the wife's camera). It was neat to see 4 generations together doing the same things we enjoyed so much as kids,

but now we’re the parents. Brings back memories.

Once again a blast was had by all especially the rug rats which were especially rampant this time. Weather was great, water was warm but very low, food was excellent with chef Mike Ramirez tearing it up, fishing was good for both bass

& trout hanging in the 40’ range.

Fish were caught mostly during 7-10 am runs with the kids trolling 3” Big Hammer’s

with a few bass coming on small cranks & the Hammers. Most of the days were spent splashing

around on anchor while taking turns being dragged around the lake on various inflatables.

Good Times!
Must recover.
