I went back to Lopez today to see what was happening out there. I did alot of exploring in areas that were out of reach in my kickboat in the past. That was tough though because I don't have a depth finder on the boat yet. I could find alot of good areas, but had no idea what it was like underneath. I spent alot of time breaking in the motor though, so that was good.

I got a small fish on drop-shot and a few missed bites early in the day. For the rest of the day the weather turned cloudy and windy and I couldn't resist throwing the Slammer. I threw that for several hours, but couldn't come up with anything. I ran into Pete Skarda who said he got one around 6lbs and a few more decent fish. So I guess they were catchable just not for me today.
