Has anyone heard or experienced a frog bite this year at Santa Margarita Lake?

Last year was pretty quiet due to low water conditions and the last time I was at the lake, the weeds were present, but things were pretty quiet for froggin'. I tried anyhow but there wasn't a boil or hit anywhere.

Any additional info would be appreciated.
