Fished from dawn until 1pm and caught around 8 fish, the biggest at 6-7lbs. All fish were caught on Senkos. Tried Senkos, flukes, 4" purple powerworms. Fish were caught in the Jackass Canyon bays across from the White Oaks boat ramp. It was a beautiful day on the lake with a cold morning that warmed up fast once the sun came up. Water temp was around 53 degrees when we started but by noon most bays were up to 59 or 60. Only bad part of the day was hitting a deer at 50 mph on the road to Margarita...that can ruin your morning!

Nice job Ken! I just got word that i will be camping at the lake instead of the KOA like origionally planned. Please come meet me out there and we should have a bunch of fun. I will call you to arrange this though. Did the deer survive the thud, or is it now in the collection of thousands of other poor animals linning the road? Lately i have noticed sooo much more road kill in the streets (sorry, that was pretty random and nasty). Again, good job on the quality fish, and you need to bring me some senkos!! I dont have any and cannot buy them in SLO! Bring some and i will buy them from you PLEASE! Check out how we did at Lopez in the above report.

Till Later,
Joel

To fish, or not to fish, what a stupid question!!
