I agree with SB born on this one and will roust Brian for talking about our trip last week. I buy into the "out of sight out of mind" principle. If Brian puts the buzz in the air, the spot will get more pressure. Just like if Santa Barbara hotels spend more $$ on advertising, they will corner more of the pre-existing and fixed tourist market. If positive info on the spot is brought up, more folks will go who would have otherwise gone to cachuma.

Yes I think this site is a great forum for spreading the good word about our common interest. But not all fishermen are wonderful people. Brians post does not discriminate between the jerks, and non-littering, catch-and-release fishermen. Last night I ran into Matt and his wife. Two great people. They packed out trash for christs sake! But I've also ran into skinheads who threatened to "f*(k me up" as they called me a "f@gg0t" and chucked beer cans at me. Phil,,,, skin heads fish too. Im sorry I just don't go there to find out how good it is so i can tell the world. I go to fish. Hey, if I see someone up there who asks me how I did, I'll tell him. If the person's nice I'll let him borrow my rig for a few casts. But I'm not going out of my way to prostitute Red Rock to the County. Is no secret worth keeping?
