Hey thanks for the reply. This site is sort of a catch 22. It's great to find killer new spots and methods to catch fish as well as meet good friends. On the same note its a bummer to get all stoked on hitting your favorette point, only to find two or three boats camped out on it the entire morning. Then again you could try a new spot you heard about on Calfishing.

I feel protective about Red Rock however. It really is fragile and it can't handle mutch pressure. Brian Long, Brian Kettler and I, on our trip last week saw a guy with a grip of sun fish and what we think were a few short smallies. I have seen guys poach like 30 trout in a few hours and leave a bunch of trash. Are we just operating under the assumption that the jerks can't use computers? When we post messeges up here, we are telling some people we whould never even want to SEE up at the river. That is what bums me out.

To Swimbait,

On a more hypocritical note, thanks for the info on swimbaits, OOOH YEAH!!! I nailed a bunch of smallies and a 3.05 large mouth up at Lopez during the Santa Barbara bass club tourney last month.
