I'm a brand new fisherman on the Central Coast. I fished Lopez on Saturday 1/8 from 8:30 to noon. Only saw 2 trout caught in Cottonwood Cove over 2 hours...one on a SuperDuper lure and the other one a worm. I was using powerbait and didn't get a bite. Kind of discouraging for a beginner but there were a lot of people fishing there without much luck!
