Last Saturday, there were a few trout caught in the 4 - 6 lb. range (rainbow glitter PwrBait) from shore. Also a bunch of 12 - 14 inchers. It's exciting to even see larger trout in SoCal impoundments and the children catching them hurt their faces from smiling so much. Try right by the marina as you face toward the island from 2:30 until closing (5:00 p.m.). They could be more polite about letting folks know closing time is approaching. One wonders if they appreciate your business.
