As long as the bites good, I guess I'll continue posting my trout fishing trips. I went to Lopez again this morning and caught my limit in about 3 1/2 hours, from 7am to 10:30am. A 3 to 4 pounder broke my 2# line after I farted around with it too long and didn't net him when I had the chance. Dumb! That's what I get for being over confident...I forgot to loosen my drag during th fight. I met a really nice couple, Curtis and Pauline, who went nuts on them in about an hour (I'm really bad with names, so I apologize if I screwed it up!). They showed up at around 9am and both caught their limit by 10. Pauline just annihilated them. It was like she had the magic touch this morning. Three of her fish were over 14" long. One was a 1 1/2 pounder that measured 16". I've never seen anything like it...in and out, just like that! Get over there trout fishermen! They're biting like mad!
