More good news. Saw the other day that San Pablo Dam will now open at 6am and be open every day of the week. They're under new management through some outfit called the Rocky Mountain Recreation Company

That's what happens when you put water in the lake and stock enough trout to get folks excited to go fishing again :)

DFG hasn't been planting but they've been doing enough private stocking to reach critical mass on the trout to where people can go and reasonably expect to catch a few.

The spots have utterly taken over San Pablo Dam but at least you can go at a reasonable hour and fish any day of the week. With high water fishing should be good for the next few years.
