The rain cleared out this morning and I cleared out of town around 1 to hit up Margarita. I checked out the back of the lake by the dam and was suprised to find 5 to 7 foot visibility but no bites. I worked my way back up the lake and flipped a nice male with a huge jaw out of some tullies. The fish went 3-8 on the scale. After that I ran spot to spot up the lake and didn't find much. The water temp is down to 52 and even 51 degrees and the fish are off the bite a bit. Late in the evening I switched tactics and slowed down and was able to catch 2 two pounders. Talking to Dean who fished the afternoon he said it was tough to and had no bites. That's the word for now.
Here's the pics starting with that big male

and a nice shot of Dean in Mark Hinson's ranger as he blew by me !
