Need to hear from some Nor Cal anglers.....seems most of the reports here are on So Cal or Central Cal spots. I fish all over Nor Cal and the Sierras and would like to hear from other Nor Cal fishermen. I fish the bay area for planters in the winter and it's too snowy to get up into the hills....but I guess I'm a mountain man at heart cuz as soon as the ice is off the roads I'm mountain bound!!! I fish all over the Bridgeport area (at least 2 - 3 times per year), enjoyed Ice House amd Union Valley area, and most of the lakes and rivers far to the north around Shasta. but I'm willing to try anywhere the fishing is good and the barnies are few....

i just got back from clear lake, you can check that report. the reason nobody posts about nor cal is because most of us on this site are from central/so cal. if you're from up north, we'd love to hear some reports. maybe a few from you will spark some interest from other anglers from your area. whenever i fish up north with bass-n-tubes i try to post, but i don't fish up there much.

I live up north and fish up here quite a bit. The only problem is that I am not much of a largemouth fisherman I normally fish for trout,catfish,and occasionally striper and sturgeon in the bay. Let me know if you want any advice. If you are looking for Largemouth I am probably not the right guy for ya.....

Fishing here is really picking up, i have been fishing in the bay for some time now and have been getting some really good catches.. i fish at Grizley island in Suisun City. I have been catching an average of 3 striped bass a trip, most of them keepers. E mail me if you would like some information about this area. If you live close to it, take a trip down there, dont goto the first fishing area, goto the second because thats where all the fish are at. - Happy Castin'
