Yaked it from about 6:30am - 12. Excellent bite till around 8 or 9 when the sun came out of the clouds. Started out as lemon/white Kinami bite, when I ran out of those it became a watermelon/lemon Senko bite. Then as the sun started to poke out I switched to a white spinnerbait. Only caught a bigarse crappie on it, but lost 5 or 6 in the air, and was getting bit every cast. Tried some other surface stuff for not even a swirl.

Throughout this time I lost maybe 10 fish either in the air, or in the case of one fish on the drive by. That one hit a Senko right off the bank, headed straight for me and right by. I could see it go by, but I couldn't turn quick enough and it popped lose some 10' behind me. This was about a 50' run from hookset to release, never turned, just like a run-away train. Also farmed quite a few others. Totals were probably 5:15 boated to hooked. Biggest was around 4.

The rest of the day was dead until the last 30min. when I farmed a couple dragging and 6" Aaron's Magic straight tailed worm. I think I went some 2.5 hrs w/out a single bite before those last little pecks.

Thanks to all the Matt, Rob, and Steve (over the phone) who pointed me in the right direction.

Ed,
Good to hear that there are still fish swimming in that lake. With the end of the lake being about where the narrows end and all. I hope that lake can survive the summer without loosing too much oxygen. It would be sad if we lost those fish in that lake. I bet the fish are all concentrated on the peninsula and by the dam.
Anyways its good to hear a report from a lake that has not gotten too much attention in the last months. If your going again, let me know, I'll see if I can give any info!
Anybody want to talk fishin' e-mail me at csmith@shimano.com
Talk to you guys later

Hopefully, I'll be hitting it again tomorrow. I'll know by this evening. Last week all my fish came from the narrows. Never made it past the point.
