Managed to get a little time on the small lake (area 3) at Eldorado Park... but did not catch any fish.

Friday night - saw one guy catch a dink on a drop shot - nothing else seemed to be happening. The weeds are back and the water has dropped significantly since I was last out there.

Saturday morning - I got an early start and there was a nice fog on the water, but that didn't help me out. I was blanked again. I did see some fish trying to nail dragon flies - coming almost completely out of the water to try. I had one lazy swipe at a pop-r, but no hook ups.

I mostly threw plastics and jigs and a little top-water here and there.

Lots of fisherman out on Friday night and Saturday morning - when I was out there as well. No one seemed to be hooking up.

Hey SJ good to hear from you again thanks for the report. I havent had to much time to fish as of late but ive been wondering what Eldo has been like. Its good to hear that I havent missed much but its also a bummer to hear that your not hooking up. So the weeds are back and the water is down huh? ah no worries as soon as it starts getting colder within the next couple of weeks its gonna turn on weeds or no weeds. Im really just waiting for the weather to change also, im pretty much over summer and the crappy fishing that comes along w/ it. I share the same feelings as swimbait in one of his previous posts "give me my jig fish!!", now thats what im talking about! It wont be long.
