Lake Balboa has bass in it, but I think that there are like only 3 in the whole lake. I saw on boil on Tipola there. The only real fishing that can be done there is Tipola...But you can catch like 50-100 a day. Two ways to fish for them on a hi lo rig or splitshot rig both with small #6 hooks baited with a chunk of nightcrawler.

Whe I fished Balboa alot I used to use a splitshot rig on 2# test with about 1/4 of a nightcrawler that I'd use one of those worm threaders to thread completely through. I'd cast out and slow retrive back. They are fun fish on light line.

Tipola are only there during the warm months so now is a good time for them.

Reseda has a few cats in it, but is completely not worth your time
