5970, Castaic Pattern Posted by xcellentfx, Tue Oct-01-02 11:45 AM
I'm going to be at Castaic this friday. Early in the morning I'll be throwing topwater, but after that bite dies I'd like to throw a texas rigged worm and Jig. Where are the fish going to be? I was thinking secondary points in 0-20 feet of water? Would that be a safe bet or are they still on main points?

I'd be throwing the big wood. The first trout plant went in today.

I have to go with p-shane on this one, that place should be going off pretty soon.No better time to try but the first plant!!Look for the trout pushed back into the backs of coves. Then throw around or near those points.
Just my .02(after a couple beers)
