Gawd.. I knew I should have never ever started this thread... but being that it's been sounding a little slow everywhere lately my point was not in bringing the spotlight to anywhere in particular.. but simply not to overlook the little "trout planted" local spots in your areas..

So if you have "your own" puddle nearby that HAS NOT been planted with trout lately.. hit it up with a good imitation.. and maybe you won't have to go anywhere else... Besides, there's this short fused guy that I've seen who fishes the spot regularly along with his 500lb pitbull and well.. nevermind. ;)

Just don't go and rape the poor place, especially out of respect for those who live nearby and who've been fishing the place regularly for the past who knows how long.. those who know the spot know that it could only handle a couple people fishing it at the same time.. and for those who didn't--well now ya know!

Being that this is a message board.. I should have known better.. but to the credit of the members here who seem to be at least somewhat responsible, I don't mind sharing a little.. gotta give a little to take a little.. anyways.. much apologies to the guys down there.. didn't mean to drop the dime on your spot..
