No worries about exposing the spot. Ive hit this lake up about 50 days a year for 4 years. The rush started 2 years ago with clear water and a good spawn. It tapered off last year after the spawn, the clarity was about 6" and no bedfish were visible. During the summer of 2001 bluegill were spawnin everywhere, however in 2002 poor bluegill spawns(virtually non existence) cut the bass chow off in this lake now it is in a decline .Im trying to get it stocked with panfish or shad, definitely not trout(brings around the wrong mentallity), but i should prolly start a petition.
