On Fishnet radio today Craig (?) at the Cachuma store said that trout-imitation lures have been catching "large" bass where the planter trout are planted.

The Fishnet radio program is at 1250 AM radio Santa Barbara, 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Saturday mornings.
They generally have live reports from Cachuma, the Stardust, Cisco's, and Patriot's (Avila). Fairly easily won prizes for callers often include gift certificates for Hook, Line, and Sinker, Boater's World, Cachuma boat rentals, and the party boats. Updates on closures are often given.
