What these guys have said is pretty much GOLDEN, but don't forget your 3" swimbaits, especially any deep bodied silvery ones to imitate shad. Also don't forget my fave, a deer hair jig with a 3 or 5" curly tailed grub under the hair. Used White w/ Salt-n-Pepper grub to imitate shad and Brown with any dark grub to imitate craws. I also like PowerCraws, just remeber to trim the worm part a little so your eyelet is at the end when the hookpoint is sitting right between the eyes, Texas rigged of course. BTW these can also be good for Goats in the salt.
