Region 6 (San Diego) held its 2nd tourney at Lake Otay on Sunday February 23rd. Despite heavy fishing pressure since the lake opened and also having 5 regional tournaments on Saturday, Federation members still found fish to be caught.

1st place winner, Cameron Smith, caught all his fish on bedding bass. Yes, its spawn time! Although not all the fish are up, it will only be a matter of time before they move up in waves.

I think he wore his fancy pants!....remember the gett'em dizzy and disorient them to float and net manuever! You gotta see the bass to make eye contact with them! Way to go Brian, just havin Fun!
