First of all, the fishing was non-existant so let me start by quoting AMP2564, "It was a beautiful day..." Launched from the stairs at around 5 and fished the area between Topanga and Big Rock until 10 for a slow pick on small bass and even a large grass rockfish on various plastics and cranks. No halibut, the only species I was targeting today, not even a short. A few birds were diving but I think the surf just needs to calm down so the water can clear up. Anything over 3ft. is the kiss of death here as the bottom is so touchy, at least in shallow anyway.
