Salmon fishing in Monterey is definitely on my list. Lets figure out a weekend and plan ahead. I am mostly interested in going on a mooching trip not a trolling trip. I think that is what you were doing right? Monterey is only about an hour and a half from my house.
Do you know when the season opens up here? I think it's in March or April but I know they are always messing with the regs.
