Pretty much anything goes, as long as it is legal. No motors, sails or artificial propulsion. The idea is to get out and have some FUN!! Life Jackets or PFD

the conditions deteriorate. All participants should be aware of the inherent dangers of being on the ocean that may lead to injury or death. All participants should
be comfortable in their craft, with the weather conditions that present, or may arise.

Directions: 101 to Ward Memorial Blvd west towards the Santa Barbara Airport. Take the SB Airport exit, left at the stop sign. Turn next right into Goleta Beach
Park. Turn to right to end of parking lot.

I am aware of the concerns of those who want to promote Catch and Release Fishing. I am all for
this and am looking into implementation of some sort of solution in the near future for future events.
I do not condone the wastage of any fish, but do support the legal take of fish for consumption, in so
long as the specie's population is not adversely affected. For the moment, we will have a reduced
limit on the Calico and Sand Bass, with C&R encouraged, but not required.

Thanks for coming up with a format that finds a good compromise between all our emphatically diverse views and for taking the effort to put on the event in the first place!

WELL SAID!!
I like to eat an occasional fish too and don't look down on others who want to have a fish meal.
You seem to have thought of a workable way to keep everyone happy and encourage good stewardship of the resource.

Tight lines,
Wade
