Zach,
Try using the file upload option from the page where you post a message. Once you upload it, at the very least there will be links to the pic at the bottom of your post. You can take those same links, using the preview button, and paste them into the post so the pics show up right in the post.
The thing that may get you is that there is a limit on file size for the uploads. It think it's 300k.
