Is anybody going on the Party Boats this weekend? And what does the forecast say? I get a general feeling that the season has slowed down a bit the past couple of weeks.
Does anyone have special prefrences to Squid over Chovies?
Does anyone perfer low bridge casting to dropping straight bottom?

Hey dude,
Now is the time to go fishing! The boats down around LA have been catching the sandbass on the flats. The overnight boats out of Oxnard and SB have been catching the seabass (witness 80 whites on the Seahawk today) and the costal fishing has been excellent also. I fished the Stardust 1/2 day out of Santa Barbara today and caught 7 calico bass and 7 barracuda, it was great. But isn't it always time to go fishing...
