Fished Ocean beach peir from 8:00pm to 4:30am. Mackeral bite was on until 12:00. so I caught plenty of makeral (new bait) and a Bat Ray 25lbs and a lobster (released)on squid. One other person caught a 10 lb shovelnose guitarfish.

Does any body know when lobster season begins?

Anchovie,

Lobster season is from the Saturday preceeding the first Wednesday in October to the first Wednesday after the 15th of March.

Limit: 7

Check with the 2002 Ocean Sportfishing Regulations Booklet that is free at most bait and tackle shops for size regulations.

I fished at the south end or the left side. Where were you? We should meet some time.

interestingly enough I stood at the opposite end, although I did walk to the south side of the "T" a couple of times, hell we might have met without knowing. anyways there's always a next time. by the way, did you catch anything other than dink mackerel?
