Launched at the baby beach around 7:30, back by 12. Very very slow. Ended the day with one very short 'cuda caught on a Tight Line jerkbait w/ a gold leadhead. Spent most of the day fishing around the reciever and outside Doheny. Mostly dragged swimbaits looking for 'butts. Only got a few shortbiters.

Coldish air, water around 60º. I got out right in time though. Wind really kicked up around 12:30, air dropped a good 5º too.

Ed,

IMO, the inshore action has really been slow the last 4 weeks. I haven't ventured outside the surfline since october. I'm thinking about taking a few days off from work next week to catch up on house chores.

I'm waiting for the winter Godzilla Bardies. Cowabunga! :D

Yeah, it seems like a slow winter in general. Sandies haven't really showed in SD Bay yet either. Maybe it's some El Nino thing?

no didnt you guys hear.....we now have what we call perma-summer. haha except for a couple times it seems like we havent even got into winter yet and its almost mid january
