Hard to tell from the video but I would agree that it looked like it had a long way to grow to be considered a world record class fish. Other then Perry's fish there was a bass that weighed over 20 Lbs caught at Lake Hodges back in the 198?. I'm not sure if they ever began planting trout in Lake Hodges but I am sure that the lake had never received any trout plants back in the 80's when the lake Record Bass was caught. If I'm not mistaken the fish was caught on a live crawdad.
