10534, Help picking swimbaits for stained water

Hey guys, I'm still on my road to swimbaiting. Most of the bodies of water i will be fishing are going to have stained water. I heard that Huddlestones are a clear water bait, as they dont have that much kick for stained water. I know Matt's Gills and BB's have a good kick so i will be getting more of them. So which baits should i get for stained water swimabaiting?

Thanks for any help

Try a black or white mission fish.

I hate to ram this bait into the ground, but for stained or dirty water a white 316 rising son is a great bait. I havent tried my black ones yet, but Ive got a feeling they are going to do very well in dirty water. These baits move alot of water and the tail thumps big time.

What do you mean by stained? 6"-1ft visibility? (regular huddleston works great in that kind of water, but that's a whole 'nother story) 2-4 ft visibility? 4-6?

yeah we are talking about 2 - 3 foot visibility with a naked eye
(meaning no polaraized glasses)

Stocker Trout, Slammer, Wake Bait, Osprey, Hudd...they can feel and hear better than you think. I use the rule that they can see double what we can in the water.
