super fun to catch. spots a vicious and mean.
Get a 6# largemouth on swimbait tackel and once you get their head up you can pretty much ski 'em in.
a 6# spot is a different story. those thing dont stop fighting even when you got em in the boat.
Wake bait spots are the best.
I get why you guys hate spots. They can and will dominate and destroy a good largemout fishery. But where I'm at I have just as good or better a shot at a 8+ spot as I do an 8+ largemouth. I'd rather catch a big spot than a largemouth of equal size any day.
